Redux Pictures

Redux Pictures is one of the best editorial photographic agencies in the World and they're located here in New York City. Aside from representing an international roster of top talent they also run a commercial agency called Redux Advertising and they maintain a massive stock archive; including being the official reseller of stock for the New York Times in North America. The goal in our redesign was to build them a site that lived up to everything they do. We've moved stock highlights to the home page while keeping their editorial roster at the forefront of the home page. The photographer and contributor main pages are setup in a grid layout with pertinent information below each photographer. Within the portfolio pages a user has four options for viewing images: slideshow, grid view, lightwindow and print this portfolio view. In addition we have live blog feeds, links to websites and stock collections on each photographer page. The whole site runs on a robust custom Wordpress CMS and the site itself has lots of nice dynamic features without any Flash in site. Caroline Keim learned a lot and gained a lot building this one out and her work speaks for itself. I also want to thank the great people at Redux: Jasmine, Marcel, Perrie, Jesi and Myles for all their hard work and patience. We're damn proud of this site.
